Season has just begun for my sake and I checked out Trysil’s opening weekend yesterday. Not much snow, not many obstacles, A LOT of rain, but VERY fun even though! Here’s some turns and fooling around down the pretty long slope they were able to open this weekend:

I’ve spent the last week hooking up with my buddys at FieldProd for the first time this year, searching for cool park features at some places I’ve never been before. Well I’ve been to Hovden once, but in another context, and now it was for shooting a kicker. It turned out to be a bit too little for those banger shots, but it was really cool hitting anyways!

Moved on to Røldal for the annual freeride challenge, this year presented by Peak Performance - my main sponsor. Since I’ve been spending the past years in the park mainly, I’m not that experienced with the big mountain, but it was fun trying and I hope to do more of it next season. I need to learn!

After a wicked party in Røldal Friday night, I went to Vierli (or as Aleks Aurdal would say: «I just came in the cabin after a long drive») on Saturday. (No offence Aleks, haha, you know I love you and congrats with JOSS!).
Managed to get some cool shots for the movie I hope, and some sweet photos by ChatRoulette king Olav Stubberud!

Home in Oslo now and hopefully heading back to the mountains soon for some more shooting. Meanwhile I have some studying to do!

SecondHands Golden Air and Easter

Oh yeah! This weekend’s contest in Tandådalen was great! Even though I didn’t win any prizes, I had a great time! The contest was one hell of a show, feeling like skiing and being at a rave-party at the same time, haha! Since I’ve been suffering from a knee injury almost all season I tried out the switch ten-eighty and bio 1260 for the first time since «King of Style» - and it worked out pretty well. 4 qualified to a super final - Aurdal, Mustad, Boberg and Nyhaugen. Nyhaugen putting down a dub cork 12 and taking home 30 000 SEK! Congrats!

Some rad ass partying went down also, and I’ll have a look through the shots from the contest and parties and decide what’s appropriate for public, haha! Meanwhile here’s a clip from a day in Varingskollen shot with a mobile camera, and a quick edit from the contest by someone at freeride.se.
